Pair Arrested in Paris After Disturbance Call

Paris Police responded to the 700 block of Cedar Street in regards to a disturbance. Officers made contact with Quentin Ewing (32 YOA male) and Tawana Hicks (39 YOA female). Ewing was found to have an outstanding warrant for unauthorized use of motor vehicle as well as another misdemeanor warrant. Hicks and Ewing had re-entered the residence and refused to cooperate with officers prior to the confirmation of the warrants. Contact was reestablished and Hicks was placed under arrest for hindering apprehension and possession of controlled substance. Ewing was placed under arrest for the warrants and possession of controlled substance. Both were found to be in possession of small amounts of methamphetamine.
