Paris Police Report

Samuel Blake Adams aka Eric Ray Adams

Sunday morning at 10:35, an officer stopped a vehicle in the 2900 block of Briarwood for a traffic violation. The driver identified himself as Samuel Blake Adams but could show no identification. A consensual search of the vehicle located paperwork belonging to Eric Ray Adams, 38, and they determined that Eric Adams was the subject detained. Officers charged Adams with a Parole Warrant and Failure to Identify as a Fugitive From Justice.

Leah Dawn Bosse

On Monday, officers responded to a disturbance call on the 800 block of SE 42nd. Officers contacted the arrested person, Leah Dawn Bosse, 40, who had assaulted a 65-year-old family member. Someone had injured Bosse before the officer’s arrival, and officers were rendering assistance when Bosse attempted to reenter the residence. They detained her, at which time she struck and then kicked the officer. She was restrained, arrested, and transported directly to Lamar County Jail. Bosse was charged with Injury to the elderly as well as Assault to a Public Servant and Resisting Arrest.

Holden Shane Harrell

Officers received a report Sunday of a disturbance in the 1100 block of Grove St. They arrived and made contact with Holden Shayne Harrell, 23. During the investigation, they discovered that Harrell and a family member had been arguing while he was intoxicated. During the argument, Harrell had gotten a firearm and threatened to shoot himself and the family member. Officers located a gun in the location where the disturbance occurred. They arrested Harrell for a Terroristic Threat to a Family Member.

Karen Lyria Henry 

Officers stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of NE 3rd on Friday for defective equipment. Karen Lyria Henry, 57, was the driver, but he could not provide insurance information for the vehicle and had no Driver’s License. They towed the car, which had “Crack” cocaine in it. Henry was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Sierra Jade Townsend

Sunday, officers worked a vehicle accident in the 3500 block of NE Loop 286. While officers were approaching one of the vehicles, it sped away from the initial scene of the accident. They stopped it in the 3300 block of NE Loop 286, and officers made contact with Sierra Jade Townsend, 28. Officers arrested Townsend and charged her with DWI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident involving damage.

A report of a burglary was received in the 1500 block of W. Henderson. The victim advised that a known suspect was contacted carrying property from the residence. The victim is missing the residence’s lawnmowers, hand tools, air conditioners, and electrical wiring. The investigation will continue.

Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1100 block of NW 15th. Officers found fired cartridge cases and a pair of shoes in the area. Police did not locate the victims or suspects. The investigation will continue.

Officers worked a burglary of a residence in the 300 block of Stone Avenue. The victim advised that a known suspect had illegally entered her apartment and had damaged her televisions and her microwave oven. The case is pending and under investigation.

Over the weekend ending Sunday, April 14, officers made 90 traffic stops, arrested 11 adults, and answered 311 calls for service.
