Paris Police Report For Friday (Jan 27)

At 7:33 Thursday morning, Paris Police responded to a disturbance between two vehicles, and the victim reported that his estranged wife was following him and had shot at him. Officers looked for the two cars and observed a bullet hole in the doorpost behind the driver’s door. The victim reported that he and his estranged wife had recently separated. After an earlier disturbance between the two, the victim was driving to work and noticed that his estranged wife was following him. To avoid another confrontation, the victim went toward the Police Department, but his estranged wife pointed a pistol at him and then shot at him. They located the suspect, Patricsh Annette Titus, 37, in Clarksville and arrested her. She was transferred back to Paris and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and placed in the Lamar County Jail.

Amanda Gail Gilbert

Police responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of NE 16th St. Thursday morning at 10:09. Amanda Gail Gilbert, 30, had an outstanding parole violation warrant and is currently on parole for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. They arrested Gilbert and placed her in the Lamar County Jail.

Officers worked with a victim claiming fraud in the Police Department lobby at 1:06 Thursday afternoon. They had received a phone call from an employee at Walmart who advised the victim that they had found a small zippered pouch with their identification information inside. On retrieving the property, the victim noticed six pieces of identification belonging to them and a family member. The victim reported that the zippered pouch did not belong to them and had no idea how information was in the zippered pouch. The incident is under investigation.

Calvin Wade Anderson

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 900-block of NE 20th at 12:40 Thursday afternoon. Agedelly, Calvin Wade Anderson, 45, of Paris, came to this residence and demanded to speak with his wife. Anderson had a pistol and pointed it at the front door. He then fired a round off into the ground before he left. While speaking with the victim, Anderson returned to the scene. He admitted to the officers that he had fired the pistol during the altercation. Anderson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 57 calls for service and arrested three people on Thursday (Jan 26).
