Paris Police Report For Monday (Jan 31)

Raven Chardae Jordan

Paris Police located and arrested Raven Chardae Jordan, 24, of Paris, in the 1000-block of SE 8th St at 3:09 Friday afternoon. Jordan had outstanding misdemeanor warrants. A later investigation revealed that Jordan had possession of a stolen firearm and marijuana. Officers charged Jordan with theft of a firearm and possession of marijuana and transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.

Denoval Dawayne Grant

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 2000-block of N. Main Friday afternoon at 4:04 when the officer observed it not stop for a school bus displaying red flashing lights while dropping off students. The driver, Denoval Dawayne Grant, 43, of Hugo, also had an outstanding Texas Parole violation warrant. Officers arrested Grant and placed him in the Lamar County Jail.

Mark Edward Russell

Paris Police arrested Mark Edward Russell, 43, in the 800-block of Deshong Dr. at 8:02 Friday night. Russell had been a patient in the ER and was causing a disturbance. Russell told officers that he had an outstanding felony warrant out of California, and he ended up in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to a burglary of a vehicle in the 1200-block of NE 20th at 5:34 Saturday morning. The victim said that someone had entered their unlocked vehicle and taken a pistol and the key to their car. The victim called the police later in the day and reported that they had recovered the gun and the key. The incident is under investigation.

Someone burglarized a vehicle in the 1500-block of E. Price Saturday morning at 6:21. The victim reported that they took two pistols. The incident is under investigation.

At 11:30 Saturday morning, Paris Police met with the victims of fraud in the Police Department lobby that had occurred in the 1300-block of NE 17th. The victims said they had purchased a camper trailer online and placed a deposit on it. The trailer was supposed to be in the 1300-block of NE 17th, but the victims found no camper trailer at that location. Police have not located the known suspect.

Paris Police responded to a robbery in the 2500-block of N. Main Saturday afternoon at 3:31. The victim reported that two males threatened to assault him and stole his wallet. The incident is under investigation.

Aaron Ramon Ethridge

Aaron Ramon Ethridge was arrested in the 200-block of Pine Bluff at 8:57 pm Saturday. Allegedly, Ethridge was on the property in the 200-block of Pine Bluff, where he had criminally trespassed in the past. After a short foot chase, police found that Ethridge had possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. They additionally charged him with possession of a controlled substance of more than one gram and possession of marijuana and placed him in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 245 calls for service and arrested 12 people over the weekend ending at midnight on Sunday (Jan 27).
