Paris Police Report For Thursday (Jan 26)

Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 500-block of Cedar Wednesday morning at 8:55. A person reported that they were overseeing the home while the owner was away. Someone had used a window to access the residence, and they had moved several items around inside. The reporting person could only describe a few things that were missing. The investigation continues.

Paris Police worked a reported fraud Wednesday afternoon at 12:51. The victim said someone had used their credit cards to make a large purchase, and they learned about the transaction when they received their monthly statement. The incident is under investigation.

Blaine Wade Slagle

Officers arrested Blaine Wade Slagle, 22, of Paris, at the Paris District Parole Office at 2:02 Wednesday afternoon on an outstanding parole violation warrant. They booked Slagle and transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.
