Paris Police Report for Thursday July 13

Officers responded to the Lamar County probation office to serve a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with 25-year-old Jaquan Washington and took him into custody on a charge of credit/debit card abuse.

Paris Police responded to the 1300 block of NW 18^th after learning that a woman with an outstanding warrant was at that location. Angela Smith, 39, was arrested for violating her parole.

Paris Police are investigating two burglaries. Officers were told that someone had taken a TV and several pieces of furniture from a home in the 2200 block of W Kaufman. Someone broke into a house in the 400 block of Grand Avenue and stole a DVD player and some cash. The investigation into both burglaries is continuing.
