Paris Police Report For Tuesday (Mar 27)

 

Monday afternoon at 3:16 Paris Officers worked a fraud complaint in the 3800-block of Lamar Ave. Reportedly an unknown suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill during a transaction. The money was determined to be bogus, and the suspect left the
scene before police arrived. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday evening officers responded to the 600-block of Bonham in regards to a fraud complaint. Allegedly two females had attempted to pay for items with two counterfeit $20s. The two remained at the scene and spoke with officers about the money.

Paris Police worked a disturbance in the 900-block of Pine Bluff in that reportedly occurred at another location. A known suspect threatened and pointed a firearm at the complainant. The suspect left before police arrived.

Paris Police responded to 90 calls for service and arrested three people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Tuesday (Mar 27).
