Paris Police Report Friday (Nov 13)

Deirk John Clark

Paris Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 800-block of Hearon Thursday morning at 6:52. During the stop, K-9 Cupa alerted to narcotics, and officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. They arrested the driver, Deirk John Clark, 42, of Paris, with a controlled substance. A passenger was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers later transferred Clark to the Lamar County Jail.

Officers worked a burglary of a residence in the 500-block of Wilburn St Thursday morning at 8:28. The victim reported that they had inadvertently left the garage door open all night, and someone had taken cash out of a vehicle. There were at least two other reports of burglary of motor vehicles in the vicinity. The incidents are under investigation.

Richard Dee Perry

In Paris, Richard Dee Perry, 49, was stopped for a traffic violation while riding a bicycle in the 800-block of Booth St at 1:27 Thursday afternoon. Perry had an outstanding felony warrant charging him with assault of a family member with previous convictions. They booked Perry and transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.

Ronald Dean Kammer

Paris Police responded to a theft call in the 3800-block of Lamar Ave Thursday afternoon at 4:09. Officers located and detained Ronald Dean Kammer, 57, of Paris, in the parking lot. Kammer had merchandise concealed in his clothing. He was arrested and transported to the Police Department. Kammer also had at least two previous theft convictions, and they enhanced his charge to a felony and placed him in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 106 calls for service and arrested five people on Thursday (Nov 12).
