Plea Deal Reached In Hunt County Capital Murder

A Hunt County grand jury had indicted Damien Demont Smith, 27, of Greenville, on one count of capital murder in the death of John Luis Estes. District Attorney Noble Walker says he reached a plea agreement in Smith’s case Wednesday. The judge sentenced Smith to 30 years in prison for the 2014 shooting death.
