On 101.9 KBUS, the Paris Wildcats will play district rival, Melissa. The Cardinals finished second in the district behind Argyle. Paris was third. The game they were supposed to play earlier this season was a forfeit.
Friday’s game will be in Commerce at 7:30. Pregame on KBUS begins at 7:00 pm. The winner of this game will play the winner of Argyle and Waco La Vega.

In basketball action On Monday, the Prairiland Lady Patriots defeated Campbell 67-49. TJ Folse and Malorie Sneed each at 18 points for Prairiland.
North Lamar defeated Sherman 34-28. Cydnie Malone led the Pantherettes with 10 points.
Chisum defeated Rivercrest 63-27. For Rivercrest, Selena Kelley finished with 7 pts while Caylin Williams had 6 pts.
Today, both Honey Grove teams will host James Bowie, the Paris Wildcats will host Commerce, the North Lamar Pantherettes will travel to Cooper, and both Detroit teams will host Avery. The Chisum boys will travel to Winnsboro, while the Prairiland boys will host North Hopkins. They canceled the Prairiland Lady Patriots game with Bonham.
The Minnesota Vikings placed wide receiver Adam Thielen on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, the team announced. Minnesota didn’t confirm whether Thielen has COVID-19 or had close contact with someone who recently tested positive. He’s the sixth Vikings player to be placed on the COVID-19 list this month. No word yet on if this may affect any Cowboys players. Minnesota and Dallas played on Sunday.
