A Reno man whose truck was stolen conducted his own investigation and tracked the vehicle to a residence near Cumby. He then notified authorities and Hopkins County Sheriff Lewis Tatum and Cumby Police responded and found the stolen pickup as well as a dually that had also been stolen in Lamar County. Deputies arrested 43-year-old Michael Wayne Putnam for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and two traffic warrants. The investigation is continuing.
