Just after midnight this morning (August 26, 2016) Reno Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after it was observed acting suspiciously in the 700 block of Airport Road.
Reno Police then stopped the car in the 300 block of Airport Road and made contact with the driver. During the stop, the driver was found to have a suspended license, no insurance, and with active warrants out of Red River County.
The driver was then arrested for driving with the suspended license and the warrant. During the search and inventory of the vehicle, a very small amount of marijuana was located in a dashboard compartment, along with a single pill identified as Alprazolam that was not prescribed.
Arrested was Chasity Nicole Taylor, 26 years old of Clarksville, Texas. She was arrested for the outstanding warrant for Theft $50-$500 out of Red River County, as well as Driving While License Invalid, and Possession of a Dangerous drug. She was also cited for the Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for having the small amount of marijuana.
Taylor was transported to Lamar County Jail without further incident.
