Rowlett Man Pleads Guilty To Double Homicide

A Rowlett man charged with Capital Murder in the deaths of two people in Royse City has entered a guilty plea to manslaughter in Hunt County. A court sentenced 20-year-old Calvin Earl Rayford to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He also promised to testify against his co-defendant, 29-year-old Dearis Rayvone Davis of Arlington, charged with Capital Murder. They are charging both in the deaths of Courtland Trowell-Wilmore and a juvenile male whose identity is being kept confidential.
