Sabine County Defendant A No-Show At Murder Verdict

A court convicted a Hemphill man Thursday afternoon of murdering his girlfriend, but the defendant, Matthew Edgar, was a no-show. So they issued a warrant for his arrest, and Sabine County Deputies, State Troopers, Lufkin Police, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens are actively searching for him. The sentencing portion of the trial begins today, with or without Edgar.
