Shoplifting Charge Upgraded To Felony

Paris police  responded to the 3500 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a theft after they were notified that a woman had stolen a purse.  The suspect was identified as 37 year old Samantha Dillard, who was later located and was in possession of the purse. She admitted to the theft and was arrested for felony theft due to previous convictions.
