Sonic Drive-In Sold To Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings Parent Company For $2.3 Billion

Inspire Brands, the corporate owner of Arby’s has purchased the Sonic Drive-in chain of 3600 restaurants. The cash sale price was reported $2.3 billion, or $43.50 per share. Sonic will continue to operate as a separate business unit within Inspire. Inspire was formed earlier this year when Arby’s acquired the Buffalo Wild Wings chain.
