Steak And Beer Thief Sentenced

Upshur County sentenced 50-year-old Mario Lacrae Rogers, of Longview, to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to theft. Rogers was known for stealing beer and steaks from grocery stores and stuffing them inside his pants. He had 17 prior convictions for theft in Upshur, Titus, Camp, Gregg, and Smith counties.
