Suspect In Choctaw County Shooting At Large

Choctaw County authorities issued a warrant for 24-year-old Steven Nichols of Fort Towson, charging him with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and shooting into a dwelling. He allegedly fired through his mother’s house door near Sawyer, and the bullet struck Mat Rosson in the neck area. Nichols was reportedly upset that Mat Rosson and his brother were at his mother’s house.
