Suspected Child Abuser Kills Self

A North Texas man accused of super-aggravated sexual assault of a 3-year-old child, indecency with a child and child pornography killed himself in the Johnson County Sheriff’s parking lot. Thirty-five-year-old Michael Patrick McGovern, who lived near Mansfield was seen driving into the parking lot, but before detectives and Texas Rangers could arrest him, he shot himself.
