The teenager born in Dallas, who was detained by the Border Patrol for more than three weeks, is suing the Department of Homeland Security. Reportedly, 18-year-old Francisco Galicia is a U.S. Citizen who was detained at a border checkpoint in South Texas while he was traveling to a soccer tryout at Ranger College. Border Patrol agents said they believed his documents to be fake. Galicia says he lost 26 pounds while he was detained.
