Titus Regional Medical Center received notice of a bomb threat Monday morning against the health system. Multiple fire departments and law enforcement responded but apparently no threatening material was found. The hospital reopened to the public and is now considered “All Clear” from the threat received earlier Monday. All entrances and offices are open. Business operations are continuing as planned.

(Previous Story)Monday morning, Titus Regional Medical Center received notice of a potential bomb threat against the health system. Currently, the Mt. Pleasant Police Department is investigating this threat and working with TRMC Administration to ensure patient’s and staff’s safety and security. The campus remains on lockdown until we learn more about the situation, with only those experiencing an emergency allowed entry. Any employees or patients reporting for procedures should go to the Civic Center for further instructions. Please be patient as we work with local authorities on the facts of these events.
