Two Honey Grove Residents Charged With 140 Counts Of Cruelty To Animals

Two Honey Grove residents have been arrested after an alleged puppy mill was discovered on their property. Cindy Oliver and Mitchell Gilbert have been charged with 140 counts of cruelty to non-livestock animals, one count for each animal seized from the location. A custody hearing last week in Fannin County determined the dogs would remain in the care of the SPCA until they can be adopted.
