TxDot Begins Red River County Road Projects Tomorrow

TxDOT contractor AK Gillis & Son of Sulphur Springs begins work tomorrow on two road improvement projects in Red River County.  FM 44 from FM 412 in Boxelder will be reconstructed eastward to the Bowie County line, and Spur 38 in Bogota from BU 271D to State Highway 37 will be renovated. The contractor has approximately 222 working days, weather permitting, to complete the $4.6 million project. Both roadways will remain open while the work is underway.
