White House Calls For Texas To Do More In Coronavirus Battle

President Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force says Texas needs to intensify its efforts to stop the virus’s spread. Local groups are also calling for Governor Abbott to do more as well. The non-profit consumer advocacy group TexPirge is the latest group to call for the governor to step up the state’s Covid restrictions. Hospitalizations due to the pandemic are 24-percent higher over the past couple of weeks. The White House task force calls the sharp rise unsustainable.
