Winter Storm Watch

North-Central and Northeast Texas

A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon. Expect possible heavy mixed precipitation with ice accumulations of one-tenth to one-third of an inch. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to three inches are possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

The impact on travel could be challenging on elevated bridges, overpasses, and roadways. As a result, hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes Thursday and Friday. In addition, wind chills as low as five below zero could result in hypothermia if you do not take precautions.
