12-Year-Old Boy Struck By Pickup In Blossom

A 12-year-old boy was struck by a pickup Thursday afternoon while riding a scooter near the baseball field in Blossom. Initial indications are that he suffered a broken leg and head injuries and he was flown to a hospital in Dallas. The child’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. No charges have been filed against the driver.
