Monkey Gets Loose In Wood County Shelter Break-In

Wood County authorities are investigating a break-in Sunday night at the Wood County Rescue Center near Lake Holbrook. The suspects then broke the lock on a capuchin monkey’s cage and the animal got away from the center. The monkey was found unharmed Monday morning. Capuchin monkeys are known as “organ grinder” monkeys. The investigation continues.
