Death Sentence Of East Texas Mass Murderer Overturned

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has overturned the death sentence of a Kaufman County man and sent the case back for a rehearing on the sentencing phase. Charles Brownlow went on a rampage in 2013, first killing his mother after an argument over a cell phone. He then murdered his aunt and two friends and then went to a gas station and killed Luis Carillo, an employee.
