Drug “Take Back” In Sulphur Springs

Hopkins County urges residents to bring their unused and expired prescriptions to a “Drug Takeback” event Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in Atwood’s parking lot. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and the Sheriff’s Posse are sponsoring the program to keep the medicine out of water systems and the trash. Also, it prevents medications from being used by anyone other than the person prescribed, including children.
