The Paris High volleyball team defeated North Lamar 3-1 in their tiebreaker match Monday night. Paris dominated the first set, North Lamar won the second, and Paris gets the last two wins. They tied the fourth 6-6 before Paris scored ten straight points. NL rallied to tie the game at 24 before the Lady Cats won the final two. Paris will now play Bullard in the bi-district round of the playoffs, while North Lamar will have to have the No. 2 team in the state, Lindale. Both games are Thursday night.

Tonight, another tiebreaker happens between Rivercrest and Detroit in Detroit to determine No. 2 and 3 seeds going into the playoffs.
The Prairiland Lady Patriots will play Pottsboro in their first-round matchup. That game will be at 7:30 on Thursday in the Princeton auxiliary gym.
A source told ESPN that they don’t think the suspension will happen for Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic for the headshot that knocked Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton out of Week 7. Officials ejected Bostic Sunday following the hit. According to reports, Dalton flew back to Dallas with his teammates but had no memory of the play.
Game 6 of the World Series is tonight, with the Dodgers needing one win to earn their first championship since 1988.
