There is a lawsuit against the Hunt County Sheriff and the Texas Rangers by a 24-year-old man arrested for killing two people at a Halloween party in Greenville. Brandon Gonzales is seeking more than $3 million in damages for illegal incarceration. Gonzalez was released from jail nine days after his arrest after the Hunt County Sheriff’s office recommended that the District Attorney drop all charges. There were also 14 others wounded in the incident at “The Party Venue” in Greenville.
