NFL
If you are into the NFL, this should be on your bucket list. A match between Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Drew Brees’ New Orleans Saints. Both quarterbacks are in their 40s and thriving in the playoffs at an age when nearly every other great passer in the NFL history is enjoying retirement. Brees and the Saints take the field on Sunday two days after turning 42 as the young gun in this matchup against Brady, 43, who has shattered nearly every record for longevity in the NFL.
The Rams take on Green Bay Saturday at 3:35, followed by Baltimore and Buffalo at 7:15. On Sunday at 2:05, Cleveland and Kansas City followed by Tampa Bay and New Orleans at 5:40.
NBA
The Lakers did in the Rockets Tuesday 117 – 100 while the Thunder lost to the Spurs 112-102. COVID has claimed five NBA games including the Celtics and Bulls game Tuesday night.
Disgruntled superstar James Harden says the Houston Rockets are “just not good enough.” That statement came after the team’s second consecutive blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night. He added that he doesn’t believe the team can improve enough to be a contender.
