Lamar County Property Taxes

Most property owners will receive appraisal notices in the middle of May, and Lamar County Chief Appraiser Stephanie Lee says property values are on the increase. The reason is that the real estate market has been robust, and prices have risen dramatically. The good news is that the school district homestead exemption is now at 25%, but they expect that to increase to 40% when the current election results are determined Saturday.
