The Paris City Council is expected to award the bid for the cleanup of the recent floods at tonight’s meeting. City manager John Godwin opened the bids last week and has recommended Ray’s Tree Service for the contract. Rays submitted a proposal of $150 per hour for a 4 person crew. The other bid was from a Sulphur Springs company for $378 per hour for a 4 man crew. The council is also expected to approve a plan at the Brookshires Grocery story to add fuel pumps to the location.
