Texas Physician Dies On Hiking Trip

A former East Texas physician has died after going missing on a hiking trip to Grand Canyon National Park. Dr. Sarah Beadle, 38, of Fort Worth, practiced at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview before joining the Baylor Emergency Medical Center in Keller. Her cause of death has not been positively determined, but it’s suspected she died of a heat related injury.
