Accused NE Texas Killer Waives Right To Jury Trial

An East Texas man has waived his right to a jury trial in an Upshur County murder case. Xavier Mumphrey, 19, of Kilgore, is accused of killing 29-year-old Kendrick Lemichael Jackson and will still go on trial in January. Also charged with Jackson’s murder are 19-year-old Decorian Quantez Robbins of Avinger, 20-year-old Devontay Hunter of Lone Star, and 20-year-old Alize Sharda McFall of Kilgore.
