North Lamar Students Compete In Archery Tournament

The Outdoor Education students from Stone Middle School competed in the Battle of the Red 3D Archery meet.  Teams North Lamar competed against were Maybank, Detroit, and individuals from Lamar and Red River counties.  Champion for this year’s North Lamar bow shoot was Stone eighth grader Dawson Dority who won a bow from sponsor Shoot Em Up Archery.

          North Lamar’s team, beginning front row left, are Katie Keele, Madisyn Padier, Jason Peregrina, Bianca Packard, Addison Jordan, and Makayla Burton.  In the second row are Cameron Fields, Riley Reaves, Maddi Johnson, Maycie Beshirs, and Wesley Bates.  In back are Maverick Brown, Tyler Nottingham, Remington Brown, Justin Daughtrey, Tony Friesen, Dawson Dority, Kason Merritt, Nathaniel Gordon, Faith Stidham, and Coach David Pasternak.  Not shown is Lucas Porter.
