New Commerce Police Chief

Jason Rector has been appointed the new Chief of the Commerce Police Department. He replaces Kerry Crews, who resigned last June. Rector is a native of Commerce and had been a Lieutenant with the department for more than five years. He also previously served with the Lavon PD, where was the chief for his last ten years there.
