Fatal Crash In Cherokee County

Around 1:20 pm Thursday, Troopers responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on US-84 in Cherokee County. It was four miles west of Reklaw. Reportedly the driver of a 2015 Ford F-150, identified as Cole Falzerano, 19, of Milford was traveling east on US-80, passing in a “no passing” zone. That is when he struck a westbound 2013 Hyundai Veloster driven by Bridget Stinson, 46, of Rusk.

Judge Rodney Wallace pronounced Stinson dead at the scene. She is at Wallace Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk. Paramedics transported two passengers in her vehicle, Lindsey Fannin, 18, of Rusk and a two-year-old child, to UT-Health East Texas, Tyler and Children’s – Dallas respectfully.

They transported Falzerano to UT- Health East Texas, Tyler.
