Abbott Issues Guidance To Texas Colleges And Universities About Free Speech And Anti-Semitism

Governor Greg Abbott orders Texas colleges and universities to revise their free speech policies to curb antisemitism. The order specifically named two pro-Palestine groups. The Texas Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations condemned the governor’s order. It said advocating for Palestinian rights and criticizing the actions of the Israeli government are not inherently antisemitic.
