AEP-SWEPCO Warns Customers Of Scams

AEP/SWEPCO is warning its customers to beware of utility scams this holiday season. The electric company joins about 100 other U.S. and Canadian utility companies in support of Utilities United Against Scams (UUAS). The utilities remind customers that they never demand immediate payment, insist a payment be made with a prepaid credit card or ask you to meet them in a parking lot to make a payment.
