American Airlines Bans Face Masks with Vents or Valves

Fort Worth based American Airlines is banning face coverings with exhausts valves or vents on its flights. Its following guidance from the CDC which recently said face coverings with one-way valves or vents allow exhaled air to be get through holes in the material. American also insisted that masks cover a passenger’s nose and mouth. Face coverings made with materials such as mesh or lace fabrics will also be banned.
