The tornado that prompted warnings in Lamar and Choctaw counties Wednesday evening has now blamed for at least two deaths in Oklahoma. Marshall County Emergency Management reports the deaths occurred after a massive tornado touched down in Madill at about 5:00 pm. There were also reports of major and minor injuries as the tornado hit three significant facilities. Major damage was reported in Lamar County near Lamar Point as well. The Nationa Weather Service issued warnings for Red River and McCurtain counties. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management is asking residents impacted by the storms to report damages to their property at damage.ok.gov.
