SWEPCO Seeks Permit For More Wind Power

SWEPCO wants to use more wind power to generate electricity. They are proposing to purchase enough wind facilities to power 200,000 homes. Hearings will begin in February before the Texas Utility Commission and a decision is expected by July.

State Troopers arrested a Big Sandy man for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
