Bond Set For Paris Youth Pastor Arrested Fr Sexual Assault Of A Child

Bond is $100,000 for a Paris youth minister arrested by Lamar County deputies for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Reportedly, 41-year-old David Ray Darby had been with Freedom Church since August of 2018.  The offense allegedly occurred in 2013, before Freedom Church existed. Darby was placed on administrative leave.

Fannin County Deputy Hospitalized After Rollover Crash

Fannin County Deputy Matthew Morales was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center Saturday night after a single-vehicle rollover crash near Honey Grove that occurred while he was responding to a family disturbance reportedly involving a man with a gun in Trenton. Deputy Morales’ injuries were believed life-threatening.
