Bank Robber’s Convictions Stand

The bank robbery, carjacking and other convictions and sentence of a Northeast Texas man have been upheld by the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Reportedly, 51-year-old Bobby Wayne Lance of Red River County was convicted of robbing a movie theater in Paris, a bank in Franklin County and stealing a truck while fleeing from the bank robbery. He was sentenced to 88 years in federal prison. There is no parole from federal prison.
