Boil Water Notice Rescinded
January 05, 2021
On December 29, 2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Omaha’s public water system, 1720004, to issue a Boil Water Notice. Omaha informed customers, individuals, or employees to boil water before drinking or human consumption due to conditions in the public water system.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the water’s quality for drinking or human consumption purposes. It has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling before use as of January 05, 2021.
