Comptroller Glenn Hegar Distributes $817 Million in Monthly Sales Tax Revenue to Local Governments
(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and particular purpose taxing districts $817 million in local sales tax allocations for November, 5.4 percent more than in November 2017. These allocations are based on sales made in September by businesses that report tax monthly, and purchases made in July, August, and September by quarterly filers.
