COVID Strikes NFL Plus Friday Night Football Preview In Today’s Sports

The Detroit Lions placed quarterback Matthew Stafford on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Wednesday. Stafford was around an infected individual who’s not connected to the Lions on Monday, and he’s considered high risk.

The San Francisco 49ers placed left tackle Trent Williams and wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Wednesday. The move will sideline the trio for the 49ers’ game tonight against the Green Bay Packers. They already announced that Samuel would miss the game due to a hamstring injury.

On Friday night, the 7th ranked Paris Wildcats will host top-ranked Argyle on 101.9 KBUS. Pregame with Steven Johnston and Robert High begins at 7:00 pm.

Over on Mix 107.7, the North Lamar Panthers hope to play spoiler as they travel to Longview to play Spring Hill. Pregame with Adam Routon and myself begins at 7:00 pm with a 7:30 kickoff.
