Deadline For Candidates To File In Texas

Today is the deadline in Texas for candidates to file for the county, district, state and federal primary elections. Those filing also need to file an “appointment of campaign treasurer” with the county election administrators before filing the candidacy papers with the county party chairperson. Primary Election Day is March 3.
